Certificate Program Description

LEARNING WITH NATURE: Sensory nature activities and knowledge for wellness, spirit and deeper understanding.

Walk nature's socially and environmentally responsible path to rewarding relationships and livelihoods.

"Oh, what a catastrophe, what a maiming of love when it was made personal, merely personal feeling. This is what is the matter with us: we are bleeding at the roots because we are cut off from the earth and sun and stars. Love has become a grinning mockery because, poor blossom, we plucked it from its stem on the Tree of Life and expected it to keep on blooming in our civilized vase on the table."

- D. H. Lawrence

INTRODUCTION TO THE CERTIFICATE PROGRAM

The challenge:

Irrefutable studies now confirm that stress emanating from our nature disconnected "bleeding roots" creates the insatiable wants, abusive insensitivity and greed that cause our most troublesome personal, social and environmental problems.

The response:

The Nature Connected Learning Certificate Program can be added to, or included in, any eduction or training program including Post Doctoral Certification. It helps personal life coach healing and alternative medicine counselLng discover how our excessive separation from nature stresses our sentient inner nature and causes many "unsolvable problems." Learn how to reverse this destructive mental health process. Master thoughtful, nature reconnecting knowledge and activities that dissolve stress by satisfying our deepest natural loves, wants and spirit.

This program teaches hands-on skills that enable your thinking to tap the "higher power" wisdom of nature's biological creation process.

The program's unique methods and materials enable us to let natural systems within and around us nurture our self-esteem, friendships and responsibility through e-mail, telephone and personal contacts.

Start this important distance learning program at your convenience by obtaining an application. Financial aid, scholarships, internships and facilitator positions are offered. Further information about the program and process is available.

The Certificate Program starts with an online Orientation Course

"Presents timely sound theory and well grounded experience. In our struggle to find connectedness and meaning it allows the natural world to nurture a responsible growing edge of culture."

Bill Hammond, Director of Environmental Education, Lee County, FL.

"I have opened an office providing 'nature connecting counseling' as well as hypnotherapy to folks. I am astonished at the positive response. People are desperate to connect with nature. I am amazed at how many people are suffering silently out there, just hungry for help. This 'nature thing' is really hitting a chord."

Mardi Jones, Ph.D.

"Presents an accessible, simple, enjoyable and extremely powerful way that love for all life may heal the deep wounds that we suffer."

Elisabeth Ryland, Ph.D.

"We dramatically increased our program's effectiveness by adding the Natural Systems Thinking Process to it. It enables our participants to connect with their sensory origins in nature and use that peaceful power to improve their relationships with self, society and the environment."

James Rowe, Ph.D.
Director of the Outward Bound School in Costa Rica
