PURPOSE AND RATIONALE
Members of industrial society
suffer critical problems because although as part of nature we
are born of natural love, -- the vital
force that sustains nature's balanced perfection -- we educate
and train ourselves to spend over 95% of our lives indoors, separated
from nature's holistic healing ways in natural areas.
Indoors, we miss self-help,
career education and emotional support available from contact
with the natural love in nature's holistic systems outdoors.
Our alternative is to make
conscious sensory contact with nature outdoors and obtain self-help
renewal.
Just a short walk in the park
demonstrates that our mind, body and spirit gain from holistic
contact with the natural love found in nature. Nature wants to
sustain our well-being as part of sustaining its own health and
wellness.
On average, for over 99 percent
of our lifetime, our thoughts and consciousness are out of contact
and out of tune with the vital science and satisfactions provided
by the grace, balance and regenerative powers of natural systems
in natural areas. This profound loss of natural love in our lives
weakens the resilience of our mind, feelings and immune system.
We become vulnerable to irresponsible materials and relationships.
"Human behavior is rooted
most deeply in nature's intentions and desire. The rhythms of
nature underlie all of human interaction: religious traditions,
economic systems, cultural and political organization. When these
human forms betray the natural psychic pulse, people and societys
get sick, nature is exploited and entire species are theratened."
-Stephen Aizenstat
We seldom value distance learning
career training and science that addresses the detrimental materials
and relationships produced by our nature-disconnected thinking.
The destructive warp in the way we think produces global warming
and many other environmental and social disasters because it
ignores the alternative lifestyles and natural love opportunities
that are available through distance learning nature-connected
education
Alternative PNC nature science
and career training education courses distance learning make
a monumental contribution to the well-being of people and the
environment. They offer unique self-help processes and tools
that enable us to scientifically strengthen our resilience by
genuinely reconnecting our thinking and feeling with the restorative
natural love and healing energies in nature. This educational
career training, distance learning, helps us correct the hurtful
dysfunctions produced by our excessive disconnection from nature.
Too often we forget that natural
systems within and around us have the holistic natural love ability
to heal themselves, be the injury a bulldozed landscape, a scraped
knee or an emotional hurt. But even when we do remember this,
nature cannot help us scientifically heal our dysfunctions or
improve our wellness and relationship while our anti-nature bias
makes us separate ourselves from authentic nature and its ability
to do this.
Our dysfunctions remain because
our immediate material and economic rewards condition our thinking
with the prejudice of our cultural bias against nature and natural
love. We exploit and conquer nature, today, with full knowledge
that the natural love in systems like water, air, soil and sunlight
along with the intelligent workings of the plant animal and mineral
kingdoms are key to our survival, and to life and natural beauty
as we know it.
Our thinking is our destiny.
Bewildered (wilderness separated), we foolishly expect the same
nature-disconnected, unscientific thinking process that produces
our discontents to help us overcome them.
Project NatureConnect's holistic
alternative offers us a self-help science that enables us to
genuinely reconnect with nature and its restorative powers, overcome
our bewilderment and improve our personal and professional relationships.
This alternative educates us in how to deal with the non-holistic
factors that harmfully disconnect us from natural love in natural
areas. It gives us and alternative educational science and self-help
tool that enables us to enjoy nature's grace and benefits.
To respect ourselves, we must
respect all of nature for our mind, body and soul are the flow
of natural systems.

"Our religion keeps reminding
us that we aren't just will and thoughts. We're also sand and
wind and thunder and rain and the seasons. All those things.
You learn to respect everything because you are everything. If
you respect yourself, you respect all things."
- Least Heat Moon
The Social Science, graduate
and professional outcomes of Project NatureConnect's
fifty-five years of research and experience in building constructive
relationships with natural systems suggest that education, psychology,
counseling or healing that is not organic tends to produce as many problems
as it solves.
