"Seabird" Wholeness Amendments to Objective Science

A guideline to support ourselves as Earth Avatars is to help people validate the following Amendments while keeping clearly in mind that to the uninitiated, this sounds like a science fiction film, at best. Feel free to suggest additions or modifications to the Amendments.

The Wisdom of SEABIRD

Sixteen Amendments to Improve Objective Science and Strengthen Whole-Life Consciousness.

1. A thing is a self-evident fact when we register or experience it directly through our felt senses.

2. Personal experience is self-evident truth, the purist source of reasonable information because it registers unadulterated in our body, mind and spirit through our natural senses.

3. Facts are most trustable when they founded on a Preponderance of Self-Evidence (PSE) Beyond Reasonable Doubt (BRD) [combined PSE-BRD (P as in Psyche) pronounced "seabird" ].

Seabird meets the burden of proof needed to save the life of an innocent person who is being tried as a murderer. Our major challenge is that we are part of nature and without being given legal rights the life of Nature and Earth is treated as if it is guilty of the crime of being harmful or unnecessary until proven innocent. Because Nature is non-literate, it is mute in the courtroom of Industrial Society and far more vulnerable than was Billy Budd or any defendant without a lawyer. This stressful insanity makes our Other Body/Earth life support system deteriorate personal, social and environmental well-being.

4. Based on Seabird, our senses and feelings only exist in the immediate moment as is true of Nature.

5. Based on Seabird, our personal senses and feelings in concert while they are connected to a natural area are the most pure and unadulterated source of whole life information and they produce feelings of happiness under these circumstances

6. Based on Seabird, the senses of Consciousness Reason and Literacy are but three of 54 inherent natural attraction senses/sensibilities that humans use to think, feel and relate.

7. Based on Seabird,the objective science of Natural Attraction Ecology that includes input from 54 natural senses, recognizes the Standard Universe to be the original attraction Big Bang seed of energy (NNIAAL) in action today. Since moment one it remains attracted to manifesting itself as energy, waves, particles, atoms and molecules that produce the next material and non-material moment and include the human senses, thoughts, feelings, and spirit of the universe we live in. 8. Based on Seabird, there are no words or stories in nature. Earth’s plant, animal, mineral, spirit and energy community is non-literate except for humanity and its kind. Earth holds and communicates its history of life as we experience it via NNIAA (no Literacy) attraction relationships in genetic material and atomic relationships.

9. Based on Seabird, Earth is a living organism with its own attraction for survival that is a seamless continuum of the same original survival attraction of the Standard Universe and its Higgs Boson seed.

10. Based on Seabird, humanity lives not on the Earth but in it, in and part of its biosphere, beneath clouds, air, flying birds, insects and particles.

11. Based on Seabird, nature, including humanity, can be seen as creation's attractive Dance of the eons with the power to produce optimums of life, diversity, peace and cooperation as well as sanely organize, purify, correct, heal and balance itself and its participant dancers without producing garbage, pollution or unreasonable abusiveness.

12. Based on Seabird, central thinking and feeling in Industrial Society is, on average, over ninety-nine percent disconnected from Nature’s Dance in natural areas and in humanity. The body mind and spirit of our citizens are unable to solve the personal, social and environmental disorders that result from their addictive and excessive separation from, and undeclared war on, Nature and its much needed unifying attraction powers.

13 Based on Seabird, the process of Educating, Counseling and Healing With Nature energizes into our consciousness the socially buried, but inherent NNIAAL essence of Nature that helps us reverse our destructive prejudice against Nature and makes unparalleled contributions to personal, social and environmental well-being.

14 Based on Seabird, we can recognize ourselves as single planet body having been divided into two bodies, 1) our personal literate body dance and 2) our non-literate, non-articulate other body, Planet Earth and the rest of the Web of Life Dance. We disastrously suffer because in Industrial Society our literate body has indoctrinated itself with a false story that says for survival we must conquer and exploit our Other Body/Earth, thus deteriorating both.

15 To stop this dilemma, objective science must include the veracity of our 54 natural senses. They build unity via ECHN helping us create moments in natural areas that let our Other Body/Earth teach us what we need to know to come into its long established balance, purity and peace.

16 We register the essence of how Nature works whenever we are attracted to acknowledge that what we are attracted to look for is what attracts us to do the looking. We then differentiate what is and is not organic in this process, and keep on the organic path that we discover.

Cohen, Ph.D., is a Program Director of the Institute of Global Education where he coordinates its Integrated Ecology Department and Project NatureConnect. He also serves on the faculty of Portland State University and the Akamai University Institute of Applied Ecopsychology whose program he initiated and has directed since 1990.
