Destructive Effects from Incomplete Information Mrs. Flanagan felt sick and went to the doctor who said “Bring me a urine specimen in the morning and I can tell you exactly what's wrong." Early next day she returned with her clothes torn, a black eye, bruises all over her body, and her hair tangled like a bird nest. Shocked, the doctor gasped, “Good lord, what happened?" She replied “Truth to tell, Doctor, I didn’t know what a urine specimen was so I went to see my friend Mrs. O'Toole and I asked her ‘What is a urine specimen?’ She said ‘Go piss in a bottle,' so I says, ‘Go shit in yer hat!,’ and that’s how it all started. Although this story is funny, our relationships built on flawed information are no joke. To our loss, globally or interpersonally the conflict and abusiveness that results from incomplete, misunderstood or scientifically inaccurate information disturbs our peace, unity and sanity. This phenomenon produces our excessiveness, disorders and emotionally stressful relationships around and in us. The wisdom of Educating, Counseling and Healing With Nature is a remedy for them. Learn to be wise: wisdom is the soundness of an action or decision with regard to the application of experience, knowledge, and good judgment. Consider this:  August 19 was Earth Overshoot Day for the year 2014 A.D. Overshoot Day marks the day that humanity exhausts our planet’s natural resource budget for the year. After that day, as our planet’s life struggles to recover from its loss, we survive while being in overdraft of its life energy and placing ourselves on borrowed time. Our inner nature senses this unreasonable loss of nature's love and support and is stressed by it. We feel a void in our lives and integrity. For this reason we suffer disastrous personal and global disorders while the way we learn to think continues to cause them. To our shame, Overshoot day comes earlier each year.  We are winning an undeclared war on Nature that makes us losers. Today and every other day, from 2:00PM until midnight we knowingly take more from our already stressed-out and injured planet and self than it can give. This alarming trespass starts minutes earlier every day while a additional persons, places and things suffer or die for our irresponsibility. “The beginning of wisdom is to call things by their proper name,” - Confucius 2500 B.C. Let’s get honest and label the information, above, for what it is. It’s the self-evident, scientific truth about our evisceration of and/or our prejudice against Planet Earth and Nature’s universal intelligence.  Does that sound too harsh? Really? Eviscerate is the proper name for depriving something of its vital content or force. Prejudice is the proper name for dislike, hostility, or unjust behavior derived from unfounded opinions: Truth is that which is true in accordance with fact or reality. Self-Evidence is a thing that does not need to be demonstrated or explained because it is obvious. Universal Intelligence is Nature being the fountainhead of authority in how to produce the perfection of its balance and beauty, in and around us. Science is intellectual and practical activity encompassing the systematic study of the structure and behavior of the physical and natural world through observation and experiment. For our Advanced Education and Scientific Methodology to knowingly teach us to take more each day from the already wounded nature and integrity of our living planet, in and around us, and to not be able to stop teaching us to do this, describes addictive behavior. How wise is it to avoid that evisceration or rape as an accurate description of our maltreatment, and prejudice against Nature and against Earth's universal intelligence, in and around us? Isn't that just the culprit protecting itself from being identified for what it is. What makes this outrage a disgrace is that a remedy for it is readily available, the warrantied, sensory, art of Education, Counseling and Healing With Nature (ECHN). To date, neither the educational or scientific community teaches or uses this medicine. This is a critical mistake. It is also the lie of omission. “One lie has the power to tarnish a thousand truths.” - Al David At soaring college tuition costs, our ECHN omission is an expensive error, one that the U.S. Department of Education has failed to correct since its 1979 operation in collusion with regional accrediting agencies and questionable student loan programs. Somehow this brings to mind another “proper name,” Corruption is dishonest or fraudulent conduct by those in power, typically involving bribery. If we continually weaken the life of our pet it will will sicken and die. This is equally true for the life of our Planet along with us as its personification. Earth Overshoot studies show that we increasingly eviscerate, molest and weaken the life of our Planet Mother, and ourselves as part of it.  We not only see and suffer the the destructive effects from using flawed information, we also pay tuitions to learn how we can make money (and become addicted from this reward) to further doing this while not learning the ECHN antidote that enables us to stop doing it. As children our natural senses are emotionally wounded by Industrial Society's trespasses against their inherent natural sanity as Society indoctrinates us to build relationships that injure nature in and about us. Our violated body becomes very sensitive to our painful and unjust severance from nature. As adults we quickly sense when this continues to happen to us and we identify who and how it is happening. To change to more sensible relationships we need ECHN help in dealing with the irrationality of a situation and the anger hooked when we sense we are stupidly being f**ked over and violated once again, in big or little ways.  Consider this: when, if ever, did your education teach you about Earth Overshoot Day? It was established by 1973, well before video games and real drones. And that is just when our imbalance caught up with us. DO THE GOOD THING. Use ECHN to scientifically stop your education, formal or informal, from polluting your mind, body and spirit along with Mother Earth. Recognize that as you learn to be a successful citizen, the corruption and prejudice in many of our established ways also train and reward you to violate life in balance, including your own life. Be aware that the greater this process desensitizes us, the more we lean towards feeling and acting insensitively and additional greed or criminal tendencies.
