HANDS-ON..EDUCATING AND COUNSELING WITH NATURE
Psychologically responsible,
environmentally connected, learning and degrees help you increase
your marketability, credibility and effectiveness.
AN OVERVIEW:
Dear Visitor
Welcome. Thank you for caring to help people
live more responsibly through an environmentally sound educational
tool. It enhances personal and global integrity and reduces our
destructive needs and wants.
Relationships, be they sub-atomic, human,
or weather systems, are formed and held together by natural attractions.
In the name of objectivity, contemporary
thinking and science dismiss most of the attraction sensitivities
that natural systems and people, as part of them, hold in common.
We view these senses as subjective or immeasureable. This demeans
their integrity and value for they are as factual and vital as
any other aspect of our Planet. Attraction senses like thirst
or community are as important and real as water or family, even
though we do not include them in the "five senses."
The loss of natural attraction senses and
sensitivities from our thinking leaves us to conclude that life
systems operate by the laws of chance and are without purpose.
However, any thoughtful person may observe that, locally or globally,
a life system does have a purpose. It's purpose is to survive,
to follow its attraction to be alive and support life. It is
attracted to cooperatively help sustain life's integrity, to
help life grow in harmony. Throughout nature this purpose is
accomplished by seeking and pursuing immediate natural attractions.
We are part of nature; natural attractions
operate our bodies and organ functions. At least 53 natural attractions
also register in our consciousness as felt senses that enable
us to better guide our thinking when we are aware of them. Today,
as over the eons, we can use them to help us establish mutually
supportive relationships, an individual, interpersonal and global
equilibrium. The separation of our thinking from the natural
attraction process in nature results in our greatest troubles.
Research by a group of graduate students
and faculty studying nature-connected psychology shows that people
using an attraction- sensitive nature reconnecting process can
help their thinking produce sustainable personal and environmental
wellness and peace. The group's Natural Systems Thinking Process (NSTP) enables
people to find and follow attraction sensitivities in nature.
This dissolves many psychological dependencies upon destructive
materials and relationships and replaces them with constructive
participation. Can you afford not to incorporate the Natural
Systems Thinking Process in your life and work?
Our graduate student group has formed a
subsidized cooperative, online, M.S. and Ph.D degree program
at Greenwich University and other affiliated Universities. The
program enables them to add a certified and academically accredited
NSTP component to their personal and professional lives. It helps
them incorporate prior training and work experiences. It offers
degree equivilence waivers to those who qualify and dramatically
reduces M.S. and Ph.D. costs and time (see below). This makes
the benefits of an accredited degree available to deserving people,
especially mid-career professionals.
The cooperative is free and open to all.
It operates through the Institute of Global Education, a special
NGO consultant to the United Nations Economic and Social Council.
Is this learning and degree opportunity
of interest to you? Are there others you know who would benefit
by becoming aware of the Co-op and its benefits? They are described
below.

The purpose of the cooperative is to learn
and offer an ecologically connected psychology that help meet
the United Nations' manifest for environmentally sound peace,
personal growth and social justice. The cooperative operates
in association with Greenwich University, IUPS, NEEF and other
learning institutions under the auspices of Project Natureconnect
at the Institute of Global Education (IEE). The Institute is
a special, non-profit, NGO consultant to the United Nations Economic
and Social Council.
Of what use is a worthwhile purpose
or idea if you don't have a process that impliments it?
Of what use is a worthwhile process
if you do not have people who value it and want to use it?
How do you help people who want
to use a valueable process that is unavailable to them?
Because Earth and contemporary society
are at risk, the IGE Cooperative addresses these important questions.
The program researches, develops, and makes readily available,
a nature-connected psychology: the Natural Systems Thinking
Process. The Process scientifically enables its participants
to create moments that let Earth teach through thoughtful, sensory,
psychological, attraction contacts in natural areas, backyard
to backcountry. Benefits in education, counseling and recovery
result along with increased environmental responsibility.
Through the cooperative's outreach
training programs, via the internet, any student individually,
or a class or department at a school or university, may learn
and teach the Natural Systems Thinking Process.
The best way to
become familiar with the Process is to engage in it by taking
the Institute's short, online Orientation
Course.

"This wide ranging program
adds an important component to an individual's personal and professional
goals," said Dr. Michael Cohen, the program's founder. "Participants
learn to effectively address the often neglected emotional roots
of our problems."

the United Nations Economic and Social Council
Project NatureConnect
Dear Inquirer,
The staff and I are honored that you are interested in the
Applied Ecopsychology or Integrated Ecology degree program, certificate
of training, or courses that we make available. We dedicate ourselves
to helping you discover how we can best assist and support your
interests.
You may familiarize yourself with our program by reading entirely
through this short letter before you visit its many links. Please
be aware that a limited number of $1500 Doctoral Compatibility
Grants are available for each semester. If
this line is written in green, one is available as
of today and applicants who recognize the value of our program
for their interests, usually get them (as long as they are available.)
Semesters start January, April, July and October.
The program is a distance learning process that may be completed
entirely via the internet and email. It is most completely described
on its homepage
You will find application procedures
there as well.
In support of the degree program, please carefully consider
our scholarship subsidized Cooperative
Support Group and the Master's Waiver Option .
Our degree program and courses are not designed for uncaring
people. They specifically help the concerned individual become
expert in Project NatureConnect's powerful Natural Systems Thinking
Process (NSTP) and optionally earn a Degree and/or Certificate
while doing so. Because the Process is a science of relating
in balance with Earth and its people, it enhances contemporary
life. For this reason it will bring greater rewards to your personal
and professional interests in most fields and disciplines.
The Natural Systems Thinking Process is a missing link in
the way we learn to think. It helps build environmentally sound
unity, wellness and inner peace, a process often absent from
our lives.
NSTP not only
provides the means to build responsible relationships, it also
dissolves the bonds that hold us on our destructive personal,
social and environmental paths. We let its process and effectiveness
speak for itself through experiences you may enjoy at our website
If you have not yet done so, to consider the effects of the
process visit our Program
Survey. Follow its links and discover what parts of it speak
to and for you.
To consider the professional and economic potentials of nature
connected psychology, visit professional
opportunities.
If you are interested in taking inexpensive Education
and Counseling with Nature Courses online and transferring
them into your present degree program visit our course
description page.
Visit these pages you want to learn about Post
Doctoral ecopsychology training or
be Certified
for learning how to use NSTP in your field of interest.
The least expenisve route to a degree
is through the Certificate
Program where costs/per credit are
50% less for most of the program. The Training Certificate coursework
and internship program may be completed and then transferred
into M.S. or Ph.D. programs available at the time of completion.
This reduces costs and makes a greater number of degree options
available.
The best way to learn how to build a house is to build one.
Similarly, we involve our students in the Natural Systems Thinking
Process to learn it and its applications. To be sure that this
fits how and what you want to learn, we suggest that you take
and successfully complete an Orientation Course by email before
you complete an application for the degree program, further courses
or internships. Please visit the Orientation
Course and follow the instructions there. By completing this
course you, and we, will have a better idea of the appropriateness
of our program for you. This core course becomes part of your
degree program transcript.
We believe in outcome based education. If you have learned
a skill anywhere, or by any means, that applies to your professional
competency, at your request, we will give you academic credit
and standing in this area towards your degree, or a degree waiver,
at little cost. All you need do is document what you have learned
from your life experiences or from previous equivalent courses
. This option of our degree program enables you to remove much
repetitiveness, time and expense.
Our degree program centers around holistic experiential learning,
independent study and research courses. They include internships,
field studies and projects rather than "book learning"
alone.
Please carefully study our web
pages to further learn of the scope and texture of this degree
opportunity. Take the tour and visit our library/contents/index
page. Our "Frequently
Asked Questions" page has proved helpful to many of
our applicants. Most of the reading you do on the website will
fulfill some requirements of the required Orientation Course.
We encourage you to call us, toll free, at 1-888-285-4694
to further explore how our program will enhance your goals and
how we may together custom fit it to them.
