APPLIED ECOPSYCHOLOGY IN ACTION
As you probably know, the critical problems that we face today are no surprise or secret. Many experts predicted them. They were the subject of best selling books in 1948.
The reason that we still suffer these problems today
is because we have yet to learn how to increase the health of our
Living Planet along with our personal, social and environmental
well-being.
Excellent ideas have been offered
to improve the wellness of Mother Earth and ourselves. What
has been missing is an effective means to implement these ideas.
That means is now available. Do the people you depend on use and teach
it?
The heart of our problems
is this: the excessive,
nature-exploitive profiteering of Industrial Society unduly stresses
and unbalances our life and psyche. This makes us continually want.
Dependently, we addict to destructive technologies and relationships to
gain satisfactions and they further stress how we think and feel.
That's how and why our problems continue.
We can't find lasting fulfillment.
We can't stop injuring the environment and ourselves, even when it
makes sense to stop, even when it feels right and we want to stop.
The environmentally connected, anti-addiction tool, Applied Ecopsychology, provides a remedy. It
helps us make genuine sensory contacts with nature's healing and
recycling powers. Their natural attraction moments have the ability to bring us into balance. This
ability is demonstrated by the profound effects of just a quiet walk in
a natural area.
Applied Ecopsychology powerfully enables us
to constantly think and feel like nature works. It powerfully
enables our joy of greater well-being to help us reduce our destructive
attachments and stop the environmental and human disorders that they
cause.
You can help this tool contribute to Earth's and our welfare by letting people learn the organic process of educating, counseling and healing with nature. It is located at http://www.ecopsych.com.
NOTE: If it will strengthen your cause or livelihood, you may obtain a Ph.D., or
other valuable credentials for what you do simply by learning how to
add Applied Ecopsychology to your life and/or your livelihood.
You are invited to make us be an income-producing online degree or training program for your school or organization.

Deep Seated Sustainability Becomes Accredited:
Researchers
at Akamai University and Project NatureConnect introduce an organic
psychological technology, a scientific, sensory-thinking blueprint they
call Natural Attraction Ecology
Friday Harbor, WA (MMD Newswire) February 15, 2011 --While Industrial
Society's dependence on technology powerfully solves many important
challenges, it also presents us with the earth-shaking problem of
irresponsibly deteriorating nature's balancing and restorative ways, in
and around us. This produces a wide range of disturbances in
places and people.
To
remedy this momentous disorder, researchers at Akamai University and
Project NatureConnect have introduced a new technology, a sensory
scientific blueprint they call Natural Attraction Ecology (NAE).
NAE goes beyond the physical ecology of
food chains and the flow of natural systems. It helps our
consciousness realize that the way nature works to produce its healing
and renewing perfection registers in our consciousness as multitude of
natural senses. When we learn how to create moments that let
nature nurture these senses, as of old, we enable ourselves to
consciously think with the power and sustainability of nature's
self-correcting sensibilities.
Dr. Michael Cohen,
the Director of Project NatureConnect, says, "Get real. Show me a
thing, place or relationship that, since the beginning of our Universe,
has not, or does not consist of the power of natural attraction to bind
things together, to bond them in ways that strengthen the organics of
nature's purity, balance and beauty."
The
application of NAE's organic form of thinking and feeling process helps
any person or discipline technologically re-establish and sustain the
holistic personal, social and environmental well-being that we have
lost due to our runaway use of technology. This is well described in a
New York Times sponsored NAE
article.
To empower people to learn to apply the
blueprint effectively, Project NatureConnect offers subsidized, online,
accredited training courses and degree programs. These provide a
practical and online Organic Psychology healing technique. It helps us
produce present and future generations that can think and feel in the
well-being of sustainable balance.
The Director of Project NatureConnect, Dr. Michael J. Cohen, author of "Educating,
Counseling and
Healing With Nature,"
notes that the science of Natural Attraction Ecology makes a critical
contribution because it is not just an idea. It is also an applicable
working instruction manual, an education and spiritual tool to help us
curb our excessiveness. He says, "Its use gives us the ability to
reduce imbalances in our psyche. It enables us stop denying the fact
that most of our thinking and technologies wound the purifying ways of
nature and its self-sustaining flow in and around us."
Cohen finds that we unnecessarily suffer
because an unreasonable bias in Industrial Society rejects that our
planet and/or the universe act like a living organism
and that we are similar to a cell in it. This leads us to believe
that we don't need to "Do onto Earth and nature as we would have them
do onto us." Cohen
finds that we unnecessarily suffer because an unreasonable bias in
Industrial Society rejects that our planet is a living organism and
that we are similar to a cell in it. This leads us to believe
that we don't need to "Do onto Earth and nature as we would have them
do onto us."
A field report
about coming into balance, from one of Dr. Cohen's students states:
"Doing
this Natural Attraction Ecology activity while sitting under a tree, I
heard the environment's callings. I felt attracted to look over my
head. The trunk of the tree against which I was leaning towered above
me with its leafless branches stretching toward the sky. It was like
each of those branches was an arm with hands and fingers trying to grab
the sun, the air, the rain....life. Without a thought, my arms
stretched above my head and my hands and fingers were reaching for the
sky soaking up the sun and air. Then the message was loud and clear: '
I sense, I feel the grace of nature's balancing ways; therefore, I am.'
Strong feelings of affirmation flooded through me. They alerted me to
the fact that just as branches reach high to take in the environment,
roots growing downward are grounded and that this branch-root
relationship maintains equilibrium while it promotes life. I felt loving and devoted to these
fulfilling satisfactions that I sensed. I became aware that did not
need more than I already had."
The pioneering mission of Project
NatureConnect is to increase personal, social and environmental
well-being by helping individuals genuinely connect their thinking and
feeling with the sensitive intelligence of nature's regenerative ways,
in and around them. The online program's subsidized and accredited
training courses enable students to use their 53 inherent
natural
senses
to make conscious sensory contact with the wisdom found in natural
areas, backyard or back country. Ph.D. degrees that include life
experience are less than $8,000.
Special new-accreditation jobs and grants are available to faculty or training
applicants in the nature-connected ways of Natural Attraction Ecology.
