CREATING MOMENTS THAT LET EARTH TEACH
Dear Friend of Sanity,
The repulsive dishonesty and corruption that pollutes our
personal, social and environmental relationships is no secret.
It's our headlines. It demands correction and pleads that I ask
you this important question: Do you
recognize that a frog living at the bottom of a well thinks that
the sky is a plate?
Although this error brings little harm to the frog, if contemporary
people thought the sky was a plate it would more severely corrupt
our present thinking along with our relationships with the world
and each other.
Our explanation for where water and air came from would be
wrong.
The value of the wind, landscape and ocean would be unknown.
Thoughts admiring Earth and Nature's cooperative balance and
beauty might be considered insane.
We would have a corrupt view of how the world worked and would
relate to each other accordingly.
The goal of society might be to train slaves to be strong
enough to throw garbage out of the well so the slave owners could
own more toys.
I share this analogy with you because there is a similar destructive
corruption in our culture. It erodes our every potential. It
produces our justified lack of trust in our institutions and
each other. It leads us to believe we can continue to live over
95% of our time and 99.9% of our thoughts and feelings separated
from genuine sensory contact with Nature. In this way we are
little different than the frog.
Fortunately, I have come across a readily available process
that enables anybody to reverse the pollution that contaminates
our relationships and integrity. Our presently deteriorating
situation will vastly improve if I find some open minded "frogs"
who will pay attention and support the process and its use. I
hope you will consider doing this in some way.
Many of us have witnessed the validity of the information
and unique process presented in the short article linked to the
end of this letter. We personally experience and teach the process,
we know its beneficial effects. We have observed its contribution
to correcting deteriorated individuals and relationships. We
have documented that this process helps people reduce a wide
range of personal, social and environmental disorders.
The process is "uplifting" in that it scientifically
helps the frog raise itself from the bottom to the top of the
well, to ground level. There, the balanced, diverse, integrity
of the sun, sky and landscape enters the frog's perceptions and
relationships. The frog benefits and grows accordingly. This
is not fantasy. With people in our society the "frog raising"
process exists, works and is easily accessable. Parents, counselors
and teachers use it to help themselves and others improve their
relationships and livelihoods.
All people deserve to enjoy the personal and environmental
benefits described in the article. Many of us are deprived of
them simply because we and too many leaders in high places look
askance at the process the article describes. The process threatens
deeply rooted "froglike plate sky" beliefs. One might
think the article describes an illicit affair rather than a useful
breakthrough. Sadly, it would better received if it did.
I simply ask if you would take three minutes to read the article
with an open mind and heart. Could you publish it, or network
it with appropriate people you might know? Could you help me
network it, or lend whatever support you feel will enable the
public to further benefit from the process the article describes?
What I am trying to create is an opportunity for both of us
to make a valuable contribution to helping people cope with the
extraordinary dishonesty that presently erodes all too many parts
of life. Does this deceitfulness revolt you as much as it does
me or have you mastered courses in shrugging?
I was sick with feeling helpless to do something about our
corruption. Just being able to share this article makes me feel
better and quite hopeful. As I continue to use and teach the
process it describes, this feeling increases and for good reason.
The process works beautifully.
