Researchers translate Nature's language: it makes sense
At the Institute of Global Education, Dr. Michael Cohen, a director for Integrated Ecology, says that all systems, including Earth, communicate in some way otherwise they could not be systems. Instead they would be "detached separates" and act accordingly, which they don't.
Cohen says, "Research here demonstrates that the natural relationships that organize and sustain our planetary home in a balance are a distinct intelligence that has its own language. We call that language "Attraction." Throughout the eons, communication through Attraction has been critical for the survival of every natural system and being, including the global life community and humanity."
Cohen, an Applied Ecopsychologist, reports that along with the rest of Nature, contemporary people inherit the ability to communicate in Attraction. Our challenge is that in our society we do not educate ourselves to be literate in it. To tackle this omission the Institute has developed a new, readily available process. Its use enables any person to become expert in communicating in Attraction and reaping many personal and environmental health benefits.
In his book "Reconnecting With Nature," (Ecopress) Cohen shows that literacy in Attraction empowers individuals or groups to create unique learning moments in natural areas, backyard or back country. These moments make space for the intelligent peace, beauty, and unifying nature of Nature to communicate in its own Attraction language. The moments enable people to learn Nature's peaceful ways and sustainability wisdom. These are peak experiences, special times when we allow nature to recycle our destructive thinking.
Cohen, an environmental education veteran, says, "It is essential that we learn to know Nature's ways. Nature seldom displays or causes the major problems that trouble us including abandonment, pollution, war, abusiveness, mental illness, addiction and environmental deterioration. Speaking and thinking in Attraction heightens sensory awareness. It enables people to make more sense."
People literate in Attraction can teach the process of learning it to others. This increases their enjoyment of responsible relationships and their sanity. It allows Nature to safely help us heal what ails us.
