COMMUNICATION BETWEEN MYSELF AND THE SOURCE OF IT ALL
A Course Participant's Report:
I know my inherent sensitivities to natural attractions are alive and well because I could enjoyably sense and feel the life that was teaming all around the pond I was sitting next to.
This pond must be at least an acre large. I decided to take the back way home through the country side rather than the freeway. I stopped the car along side of the road and turned it off . It was just getting dark and a heavy mist started to form over the top of the great pond. It looked very eerie. I got out of the car and sat on the bank over looking the pond. I asked permission to be there. It was a definite yes!
I thanked it for the intense good feelings I was having just being next to it. I told it I was learning to listen to what it had to teach me and I would treat it honorably while I was there.
The frogs are a the height of there mating season right now and they were singing when I arrived. As I sat I closed my eyes the sound of their singing seemed to grow louder They were so loud it was almost to intense for my ears. There must have been millions of them. Then along with the singing I stated to feel more of a vibration .. a kind of hum. It made me wonder what it was like at the beginning of time and did we really come from some magnificent pot of primordial soup. This was awesome. I wish I could have stayed there all night. I thanked the pond and its inhabitants for letting me be witness to such a miracle of nature and made my way back to the car and home.
The thing that changed for me after being at the pond was that I couldn't stop thinking about being there. It is like a tugging in my heart a feeling like I want to go home. Maybe it is because I want to be in that space all the time. That space in time is when I experience the awesomeness of nature.
By asking for permission to be at the pond opens up direct communication between myself and the source of all. It lets the source know you are open and ready to be part of it! At this point I feel that the teaching can really begin. You become one with it!
