Bachelor's or Master's Equivalency
|
Bachelor's Equivalency Approval
The PNC program is not
offered on an undergraduate level, however, many students integrate
our courses into their
Bachelors program at other schools. You may also obtain a Bachelors
Degree equivalence waiver and proceed with the Master's Program.
Call
360-378-6313 for updated information about how to obtain the
equivalence waiver by taking our online courses and applying them to
you life experience and training.
Goals and Process
Petitions to determine an equivalency
of the the Bachelors Degree are granted when a candidate has
successfully completed the IGE Orientation
Course and thereby documents that they have the ability to
meet Degree goals and work on a Bachelors level. In this regard
the critical question and argument is: Can the candidate show
that they are as or more skilled, experienced and competent than
a person just out of College with a Bachelors Degree? You should therefore, like any other
candidate, be entitled to enter our advanced degree program based
on your adequacy and interest in the Orientation Course materials.
(This also holds true on an MS level towards Doctoral work; see
Master's Waiver
information.)
To obtain equivalence, the student provide a formal portfolio evaluation
relative to professional achievement, non college and college
training, or its equivalence. This may be done with Bachelor Equivalency degree
programs that we will suggest. The cost is between $600-$1700
depending upon the route or option you take . Be sure to call
Dr. Cohen for complete information 360-378-6313.

Form
Process of Bachelor’s Degree Equivalence
At Project NatureConnect(PNC), the mission of our warrantied and USA
accredited courses and Internationally accredited degree programs at
Akamai University is to assure that each graduating student has the
expertise to warranty their application of their training in the
Organic Psychology of their Natural System Thinking Process (NSTP) plus
GreenWave Unified Field (GreenWave-54) to people they live and work
with. This education in whole life science has been in place for
courses and degrees for the past forty years from or for the University
of the State of New York, Lesley University, Greenwich University,
Portland State University and Akamai University.
The application of NSTP or GreenWave-54 is similar to a student loving
to add mathematics or a similar tool to their ongoing skills or
disciplines to as a means to increase scientific accuracy, trustfulness
and efficacy.
Students seeking Bachelors or Master’s equivalence degrees through PNC
are 1) required to demonstrate that they have learned and embrace the
basic elements of GreenWave-54 and 2) affirm that they have had 5500
minimum hours of previous academic and occupational training and life
experience in the area of competency(s) that they want to strengthen
via GreenWave-54. The latter is achieved by mastering five Applied
Ecopsychology training and application courses or their equivalence:
ECO 800, ECO 500, EC0 508, ECO 751 and ECO 501. When they are
successfully completed, Bachelor’s equivalence is established.
The object of equivalency is to painstakingly offer the public
individuals trained and warrantied on a degree level as GreenWave
Organic Psychology authorities. Each student with this designation has
more qualifications to offer this critically needed tool than do a vast
majority of students who graduate with Bachelor’s degrees that omit
whole life science as described in With Justice For All.
Those who cannot meet this standard at PNC are not recognized for
equivalence. The quality of PNC students' work and dedication to date
expresses the success of the program.
The final determining factor for equivalence is do we have a candidate
whose degree will beneficially add their energies to the world as
GreenWave-54 ambassadors for the life of Planet Earth.
The above is accomplished by a submitting a petition or its equivalence
that verifies that credible evidence exists to correlate effectively
with college-level learning objectives. The source of prior learning
might be advanced employment experience, non-college training,
continuing education, family experiences, seminars and conferences,
professional achievements, employment training, language training,
technical classes, training leading to special certificates, diplomas
and licenses or other advanced level learning obtained from personal
and professional achievements.
A most important element is the student's narrative that summarizes and
discusses the knowledge, skills and competencies acquired in the
professional setting, or through non-college training. This permits the
student to demonstrate higher levels of cognition where they have used
the subject matter to address real world situations in a creative
manner.
The Petition for a Bachelors equivalence determination consists of a
convincing, privacy protected, argument that integrates the candidate's
public and personal background and experiences as follows:
A. Cover Page with
▪ title of the proposal
▪ candidate's name,
▪ address,
▪ telephone,
▪ email address
▪ present occupation or profession
▪ date of completion of the Orientation Course:
Psychological Elements of Global Citizenship and name of course
co-facilitator.
B. Opening Statement that conveys an overview of why the candidate
believes they have the equivalence of a Bachelors Degree. This is a
goal statement of up to 500 words with regard to their education and
dedication that leads you to believe you can learn to use, teach and
research the GreenWave-54 or NSTP on an advanced degree level.
C. Candidate's Overview and Integration Convincingly show you presently
operate on a Bachelor's level of competency personally and
professionally with respect to your professional interests. This
statement is like a Bachelor's project or thesis with the subject being
"Documentation to Show that ________ (your name)_____ Works and Relates
on a Bachelor's Level of Competency." Make this document as strong as
possible. Prove your point by the way you develop and organize this
document. Mentors in the cooperative will help you formulate your
statement. Please include the following:
