Too often troubles and debts result from our leaders socializing us to obtain emotional fulfillment in excessive, expensive and irresponsible ways. Deep, renewing satisfactions that remedy this are always available, free of charge, through sensory nature-connecting activities in natural areas, backyard or backcountry. Learning and teaching these organic activities enable us to benefit from the grace balance and restorative powers of natural systems within and about us.

Out of habit, most of us suffer disorders because, from early childhood on, our leaders socialize us to believe a critical lie. Do you, or others you know, suffer from this practice? A remedy for this hurtful distortion is readily available.
.
NOTE:This page offers valuable rewards to individuals who recognize four basics of Organic Psychology:
1. We are part of nature and it sustains the global life community without producing our garbage, disorders or abusiveness.
2. Natural systems pervade nature and are self-correcting. They recycle, purify and nurture wherever they flow.
3. We excessively suffer our disorders because we don't connect with nature's grace, balance and restorative powers to help us remedy our troubles.
4. We spend, on average, 98 percent of our life indoors, separated from nature. To our loss, our thinking and feeling are extremely disconnected from nature's healing ways.
Welcome Visitor,
Are you aware of this great challenge:
"People agreed that rather than build underground shelters, our lives on the surface of Planet Earth must become more responsible."
- Reconnecting With Nature, (Ecopress, 2007)
A MAJOR CHALLENGE: when we learn to believe an essence-of-life differently from the way that we experience that life-essence, our psyche becomes deeply conflicted. This conflict erodes our sense of trust and it stresses our psyche.
As the effects from this conflict intensify, our stress increases. Peace declines within and about us.
Today, our life-conflict is at epidemic proportions. The stress it produces underlies most of our medical and environmental disorders. We can't reduce the conflict because we neither recognize its source nor its remedy.
Here's the problem. As the quote, above, demonstrates, from parent to president, our leaders teach us to habitually believe that we live on the surface of Planet Earth. But our personal experience says, "No! We live imbedded in the Earth. We live hundreds of miles under its atmosphere, beneath Earth's air, clouds, rain, snow and flying creatures." This conflict stresses the depth of natural senses of place, trust, community and belonging. It undermines our our mind body and spirit as well as our social and environmental relationships.
To reverse our great troubles, we need strength and support, not stress, from our place in the cosmos. We need the purity of nature's grace, balance and restorative powers to help us, not discord.
At http://www.ecopsych.com, books, courses and degree programs provide remedies for our planet-home conflict. We subsidize individuals and organizations who use the remedies because they increase personal, social and environmental well-being.

REFERENCING NATURE FOR PLEASURE, WISDOM AND WELL-BEING.
An Organic Psychology Report from an Online Course Participant
I walked briskly through my local park on a sunny, cold and blustery afternoon. While visiting the big, old trees in the arboretum, I could hear the honking of Canada Geese as they flew overhead toward the pond. I leaned against the Elm tree and looked up to watch them. A fleeting blur of sunlit, red bellies whisked by overhead and caught me by surprise. All the while I'm matching the wind with my inner "shhh" to just feel the passion of the geese honking, the nip of the air on my face, the surprising delight of the flashing red in flight, the support of the friendly Elm, with her umbrella-like branches delicately framing the sky like lace. I am invigorated by the life pulsing within and all around me.
The red flashes flew toward the pond and I felt attracted to follow reciting an inner "connection" as this activity from Reconnecting With Nature suggested. I heard the "caw" of a crow as I neared a large bolder and saw about two dozen robins busily eating only they knew what at the grassy base of a cherry tree, while another dozen perched and kept watch in three other trees nearby. Their full, round red bellies puffed out with downy warmth and abundance felt so satisfying to my senses. A few stragglers zoomed in, one flew startlingly close by my head as I stood as still as the neighboring trees. "connection, connection, connection." I felt privileged to be witness to this handsome party. I felt included.
My face began to feel the sting and stiffness from the cold wind. I felt it was time to move on to warm up and get out of the wind. I thanked everyone, turned around toward where I came from and felt light hearted as I headed toward protection and warmth.
I am a person who truly delights in referencing Nature for pleasure, guidance, wisdom and the good sense of well-being that comes from following Nature's spontaneous queues. My spirit is quickly nourished by Nature's spirits and their little surprises uplift me tremendouslyI discovered that everyone gets what they need when they work co-operatively in harmony together. The robins, took turns eating while some kept watch, a crow signaled a possible need for caution, the earth was rich with sustanence, the air with song and light, I was still and happy. I am included, rich and satisfied.
I feel more validated and supported by the speed at which I notice improvement in my inner state when I take the time to nourish myself in nature by letting go of the stories in my mind. Judgments or worries---stories-- don't help me feel good. Disengaging from them does...now more quickly than ever. When I want to feel the good feelings of freedom it is my responsibility to create the circumstances in Nature that will allow my sense of well-being to emerge and be sustained. No one else can do that for me.
I see that my self-worth was enhanced by my increased sense of responsibility for my own freedom from discomfort, which enhances my sense of liberation.

"Human behavior is rooted most deeply in nature's intentions and desire. The rhythms of nature underlie all of human interaction: religious traditions, economic systems, cultural and political organization. When these human forms betray the natural psychic pulse, people and societies get sick, nature is exploited and entire species are threatened."
-Stephen Aizenstat
In industrial society our excessively nature-separated lives mold us to betray the natural psychic pulse. We learn to block from our thinking over 98 percent of the wise sensory callings and fulfillments we normally receive from natural systems and their eons of experience. Our subconscious hurt and frustration from the severed disconnection of these senses underlies our greatest troubles.-Michael J. Cohen
