RE: Introduction to Degree Programs

Dear Inquirer,

The staff and I are honored that you have expressed interest the Applied Ecopsychology or Integrated Ecology degree program, Certificate of Training, and courses that we offer. We dedicate ourselves to helping you discover how our degree program can best assist and support your interests.

The program is a distance learning process that may be completed entirely via the internet and email. It is most completely described at http://www.rockisland.com/~process/ You will find application procedures there as well.

In support of the degree program, please carefully consider the Prestart Opportunity Program (POP) at http://www.ecopsych.com/ecoprestart.html Please also consider our Graduate Webstring Support Group and the Master's Waiver Option at http://www.ecopsych.com/gwsgintro.htmlhttp:gwsgintro.html .

This program is not designed for the average person. It specifically helps caring people become experts in Project NatureConnect's powerful, Natural Systems Thinking Process (NSTP) and earn a Degree and/or Certificate while doing so. Because the Process is a science of relating in balance to Earth and its people, it enhances most aspects of modern life. For this reason it will bring greater rewards to your personal and professional interests in most fields and disciplines.

The Natural Systems Thinking Process is a missing link in our society. It helps build environmentally sound unity, wellness and inner peace, a process presently absent from our lives.

NSTP not only provides the means to build responsible relationships, it also dissolves the bonds that hold us on our destructive personal, social and environmental paths. We let its process and effectiveness speak for itself through experiences you may enjoy at http://www.ecopsych.com

If you have not yet done so, to consider the effects of the process visit http://www.ecopsych.com/gwsgintro.htmlhttp:gwsgintro.html. Follow its links and discover if it speaks to and for you.

To consider the professional and economic potentials of webstring psychology, visit
http://www.webstrings.org/webstopportun.html

The best way to learn how to build a house is to build one. Similarly, we involve our students in the Natural Systems Thinking Process to learn NSTP and its applications. To be sure that this fits how and what you want to learn, we require that you take and successfully complete an Orientation Course by e-mail before you complete an application for the degree program. Please visit
http://www.rockisland.com/~process/5grglobal.html and follow the instructions there. By completing this course you, and we, will have a better idea of the appropriateness of our program for you. This core course becomes part of your degree program transcript.

We believe in outcome based education. If you have learned a skill anywhere, or by any means, that applies to your professional competency, at your request, we will give you academic credit and standing in this area towards your degree, at no extra cost. All you need do is document what you have learned from your life experiences or from courses for which you have never received credit. This aspect of our degree enables you to remove much repetitiveness and excessive time and expense from your program if you so choose.

Our degree program centers around holistic experiential learning, independent study and research to which you contract and that you design and fulfill at your own pace. This is accomplished through internships, field studies and projects rather that "book learning" alone.

Please carefully study our web pages http://www.ecopsych.com to further learn of the scope and texture of this degree opportunity. Take the tour and visit our library/contents/index page. Our "Frequently Asked Questions" page has proved helpful to many of our applicants. Most of the reading you do on the website will fulfill requirements on the required Orientation Course.

We encourage you to call us, toll free, at 1-888-285-4694 at any time to further explore how our program will enhance your goals and how we may together custom fit it to them.

Many questions about my Greenwich University distant learning degree program are answered at http://www.greenwich.edu especially in the College of Social Science http://www.greenwich.edu/ssc/gussc1.htm The School of Psychology on that page contains information about the Applied Ecopsychology/Integrated Ecology disciplines.

Ph.D. http://www.greenwich.edu/ssc/ecophd.htm

Again, our congratulations for having the courage in these troubled times to consider making a strong, hands-on contribution to environmentally sound personal growth and social justice.

For Unity,
