Dancing to Nature's Therapeutic Wind and Music

"I ended up down by the Bay where I love the music of the breaking waves. The fresh air and breezes invite me and my spirit is drawn to dance to the motion and depth of the of the ocean water, a mystery dance--where does this water start, where does it end, where has it been, where will it go? I always feel in place here, all the water in me resonating with the fathomless water which begins here by the sand and reaches to infinity like the tree tops reach to the sun and moon. stars and beyond. I'm dancing here with permission consent and gratitude.
My intellect chimes in--how can I be involved? I don't usually take off my shoes or walk in the sand here but suddenly I have the urge to do so. In my bare feet. Perfect.
The first thing that attracts me is the early morning gull prints on the sand, a mosaic I've never seen before. I see a swimmer emrging from the water and at first I think the person is a large bird.
My bag is heavy with books and shoes in it and my hip flexors are sore from the two ballet classes I took yesterday. The sand gives under my feet. What an unexpected relief. I am so grateful. thank you sand for giving me this firm comfy support, like a bed. Suddenly I am looking forward to the first splash of cold ocean water on my feet . A barefoot woman walks by and shows me what I am about to do. I thank her for her teaching. I begin to salivate as the salty foam gets closer.
I walk further and notice suddenly an area overgrown with grasses. I am gripped. I see the details, the thin stems, the puffy seed-pods. Then I see many colors, a profusion of yellow and orange, little flowers, also of white and purple against the earth. Small hills with trees growing in crowds and helter-skelter in posture.
I thank the earth for the colors and the grasses and trees and the blue sky and the pale white clouds. Still near the bay, I look around to absorb the presence of the water and the white-crested movements punctuating with light the thin lines of movement.
I notice how much more sensitive I am to the life around me, to the diversity, how wonderful are the differences between this and that. I learn that things that formerly seemed foreign to me are just as beautiful as the familiar--indeed that the foreign becomes familiar so quickly. In fact, it is all already known to me. What haven't I known in my 14 billion years of experience? What could be a stranger to me?
i am happy as a lark when I am close to the fresh music of the ocean, as happy as a bird chirping when I hear a bird chirp. I feel one with the trees and grasses and flowers when I take time to look listen and smell. I would feel alone without this ability to communicate intimately.
The waves hitting the shore became larger and louder, making me aware again of the water, and as if to say, hey, you wanted to dance with me. Here I am. The intelligence I felt from the water was wisdom, depth, and overwhelming love. It made me want to cry there was so much love there."
