.
NOTE:This page offers valuable rewards to individuals who recognize four basics of Organic Psychology:
1. We are part of nature and it sustains the global life community without producing our garbage, disorders or abusiveness.
2. Natural systems pervade nature and are self-correcting. They recycle, purify and nurture wherever they flow.
3. We excessively suffer our disorders because we don't connect with nature's grace, balance and restorative powers to help us remedy our troubles.
4. We spend, on average, 98 percent of our life indoors, separated from nature. To our loss, our thinking and feeling are extremely disconnected from nature's healing ways.
FEELING MORE DEEPLY AT HOME OUTDOORS
An Organic Psychology Report from an Online Course Participant
My husband and I recently visited Kartchner Caverns, a mammoth cave that was only discovered in 1975 and then kept secret by the two scientists who discovered it and the family who owned the property for 14 years. It is one of the few known living caves, a living legend that was not destroyed by humans who did not understand the delicate balance of life that go on within a cave environment.
As you enter the living cave space, you are taken into four different chambers, each one adding humidity to your body so that by the time you enter the cave, your body humidity more closely matches the 99% humidity of the cave. Light, temperate, air are all closely monitored with attempts being made to allow this masterpiece of nature to continue to grow and thrive even as humans now have access to it. I delighted in the color of life in the cave.
Near the end of the tour, I was sitting on a bench looking at a formation that by best estimates took nearly 200,000 years to grow and develop. I was deeply struck by the thought that just the presence of my body could drastically effect this magnificent structure it had not been for the process of humidifying prior to my entering the cave.
As I sat, I experienced my connection and my ability to be a positive force or a negative one on a grow and living thing. I have always had difficulty thinking of rocks or their formation as "living" objects until this "spiritual" experience. I was one minute being in the center of a growing and ever-changing environment.
I was fully in the essence of nature's nameless attractive intelligence because it was fully in this protected cave. I am ever grateful for this experience and humbled by the grandness of the design.
Randy>> Pauline, I enjoy very much reading your experience in the cave. I just wonder what makes you have such a deep feeling and grateful inspiration. Does everybody have the same feeling and understanding? If not, why there is a difference and what does it cause by?
Is the ability to being connected with and to understand about nature an innate feeling of human?
Does it require a learning process? How will this ability and capacity affect our lives and our relationship with other people, nature and the Earth? Is our nature-connected consciousness is depleting and deteriorating? What makes that happen?
What could help for the recovery? What is missing. Can you give me a clue?Pauline>> Through these online Organic Psychology courses I am learning how to feel at home outdoors in a way that even makes those words obsolete. I guess more accurately I am opening up the blocked senses that allow me to experience my unity with the life force in creation. The more I remember to get myself into natural environments, the better I feel.
As in the cave experience I shared, I wait for and am open to spontaneous natural attractions of how to express what might be called spiritual connection. I am feeling there is an absitively posolutely necessary capacity that humans are to be developing that involves a responsiveness to the evolving reality around us, not to an experience of the sacred through pre-structured forms.

"Human behavior is rooted most deeply in nature's intentions and desire. The rhythms of nature underlie all of human interaction: religious traditions, economic systems, cultural and political organization. When these human forms betray the natural psychic pulse, people and societies get sick, nature is exploited and entire species are threatened."
-Stephen Aizenstat
In industrial society our excessively nature-separated lives mold us to betray the natural psychic pulse. We learn to block from our thinking over 98 percent of the wise sensory callings and fulfillments we normally receive from natural systems and their eons of experience. Our subconscious hurt and frustration from the severed disconnection of these senses underlies our greatest troubles.-Michael J. Cohen
